1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS

By accessing and using the FoodwiseLab platform (https://www.foodwiselab.com/), including its “Trivial”-style game module and the environmental and nutritional Calculator, the user agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the platform.


2. Purpose and Scope of Use

FoodwiseLab is an online platform with exclusively educational and informative purposes, aimed at promoting knowledge about sustainable eating, the Mediterranean diet and related topics.
All content and resources may be freely used by schools, teachers, students, families and anyone interested in learning, provided that this is not for commercial purposes.


3. Free and Permitted Use

  • Access is open and does not require registration or authentication.

  • The content may be used, shared and reproduced for educational, non-commercial purposes.

  • Using the platform or its content to obtain financial gain, promote products/services or carry out commercial activities is prohibited.

The platform includes an integrated calculator that allows users, by uploading a food receipt, to calculate free of charge the:

  • nutritional value

    These features are provided to support learning and environmental and food awareness. They may be used freely, provided that this is not for commercial purposes.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be settled in the courts of the district of Porto, Portugal.
